Easy to use interface Software

A well communicated issue with existing biometric products and its software is due to the duplication of registration information when integrating the reader into existing systems. ievo™ eradicates these issues and its software is not only effortless but is very quick and easy to use and compliments any existing software.

Internal or external use

The ievo™ reader comes in four choices for specification. An internal flush or surface mounted, or an external flush or surface mounted with a built in heater system which enables the reader to operate at -20°C. The ievo™ external reader does not have to be mounted in a case or box like other leading biometric manufacturers.

Great ergonomics for ease of use

The ergonomics of any access control reader are paramount. ievo™ is easy to use, quick and convenient. It is fit for purpose as an access control system. ievo™ has no screens installed as these are often difficult to read when the reader is placed at the required DDA height. The ievo™ flow of use for the reader is in one quick and fluid motion.

Integrates into existing card, fob & prox systems

ievo™ has been designed to seamlessly integrate into existing card and fob systems by utilising the original manufacturers controllers through the use of wiegand inputs and outputs. ievo™ offers installers the opportunity to offer a reliable and superior biometric product to all of its new and existing clients.

User friendly

ievo™ is quick, clean and an efficient access control reader which increases footfall, a must for all access control systems.

Waterproof IP rated

ievo™ is IP rated to industry standard 65, offering a reader that can be mounted internally or externally without compromising its efficiency or reliability.

LED accepted/denied indication built into button

ievo™ has three LEDs built into the button. A blue for power indication, green for accepted door open and red for denied. This feature also assists for DDA compliances.

Small PCB design

The ievo™ PCB and its case are small and have been designed to fit into other manufacturers PSU’s and controller cases.

Easy to install. ‘plug and play system’

Ensuring ievo™ meets the requirements of the installer. It is imperative that the reader is easy and quick to install. There are only four phoenix plugs and a RJ45 port on the ievo™ matching board.

Networkable

Each ievo™ reader has its own IP address and can be connected using CAT5 and our IP configuration software tool.

Multi spectral imaging sensor

The ievo™ sensor technology will obtain the finger print image through water, dust, dirt, oils, creams and even some latex gloves.

An IP rated case enables ievo™ to be used in the harshest of environments.

Minimalistic in design

ievo™ researched with end users, installers and architects and found the consensus to be that a reader should be small in size to fit in with the environment it is to be placed.

An access control product that is placed next to a door is always a concern. Couple this with the DDA requirements and a larger unit can be obstructive and has limited applications.

Reader holds no data. PCB is housed internally.

Most competitor biometric access control products have built in controller/relays. These can be easily removed from the wall and gain entrance by shorting the relay.

This is not how a security product should work. ievo™ reader contains no controllers or relays. ievo™’s matching board is housed internally, up to 5 meters away.

Security fixings and mounting plates

The ievo™ fixings have been specifically designed to ensure the reader is securely mounted and security specialist tools are needed and supplied to be able to remove the reader. Most other existing biometric reader’s only need a standard screw driver to remove them, causing not only security concerns but concerns regarding data protection as most other readers store data on the reader itself.

Internal Reader

Great aesthetics

The aesthetics of any reader design is very important. The design of ievo™ has encompassed the requirements of designers and architects alike.

ievo™ will fit into an existing environment and blend effortlessly with other door furniture and electrical devices; this has become an instant benefit and a first choice for specification. ievo™ accompanies its surrounding area.

External Reader

Flush or Surface mounted

The ievo™ reader can be flush or surface mounted offering the desired requirements for the aesthetics of its environment.

Vandal resistant

The ievo™ reader has no screen which is the easiest part of any reader to vandalise, it has no keypad which is also another area of concern. The ievo™ case is manufactured in a polycarb ABS mix offering both flexibility and rigidity.

Couple this with a toughened glass sensor and piezo button the ievo™ reader will withstand a large range of attacks.

Waterproof IP rated

ievo™ is IP rated to industry standard 65, offering a reader that can be mounted internally or externally without compromising its efficiency or reliability.

Piezo button

A vandal resistant button in its own right! ievo™ uses a button for sensor activation as other products in the market have experienced problems with auto sensing technology in harsh environments. The use of cheaper standard buttons only has a life in the tens of thousands. The ievo™ piezo button has a life in the tens of millions of activations. The button also acts as a power live indicator for the reader.

Thermostat heated sensor for external use

The ievo™ heating system begins to operate once the ambient temperature falls below 8°C. This enables the ievo™ reader to operate at temperatures as low as -20°C and a cold finger can be placed onto the sensor without the image being distorted.

Custom Colours

Can be manufactured in any custom colour

By simply providing ievo™ a colour RAL number we can supply you with the required number of readers to exactly match your colour. This has proven to be essential when specifying into new builds with corporate colour requirements.

We will also hold a total order percentage as backup stock of your colour reader for a future add on to your system.

Software

We provide Paxton Net2 compatible software.

Integration

ievo has been designed to integrate into other manufacturers controllers and control boards. Our software has also been integrated to ensure a smooth and seamless operation for the end user. ievo can support you with any part of our software and our reader hardware.

We are not able to support you on the installation, set up, fault finding or any other format of operation of the other manufacturers controllers, software or sundries. Please ensure you contact the correct manufacturer if you require assistance.
