Although we refer to these readers as fingerprint readers, these systems do not
actually take a fingerprint and the information stored cannot be used to recreate
a fingerprint. Instead they take an electronic image of the fingerprint based on
several unique characteristics of the finger and create a template for subsequent
comparisons to be made.
Fingerprint readers require a user to simply present his/her finger on the reader
to gain access within a couple of seconds. They offer an irrefutable record of access
events. Biometric fingerprint readers also work well for recording time and attendance,
again providing an irrefutable record of employee clock in/out transactions which
can be used for timekeeping, payroll, etc.
Our range of fingerprint readers cover simple one door systems to secure rooms like
server rooms and cash offices to multi door, multi user systems across multiple
buildings.
